L.O.T.U.S. (Legacy Of The Undisputable Soul)
The musical influences of the group are primarily black soul, funk and disco from the seventies such as The Gap Band, Earth Wind and Fire, Bee Gees, Michael Jackson (during the Quincy Jones era...), Aretha Franklin and James Brown. Added to this repertory are Adam's Tunes in the same style which also have strong jazz and Cuban influences from his studies at Berklee College of Music 1990-1992 and his stay in La Habana, Cuba in 1994-95, where he also studied dance, percussion at Instituto Superior de Arte and salsa piano with the famous pianist Peruchin formerly part of the famous cuban salsa group N.G. La Banda.
