Experience Cosmic Command with former Grammy-nominated and internationally acclaimed Swedish guitarist Steven Kautzky Andersson and his power trio, featuring some of Sweden's finest musicians. Steven initially formed the band Gipsy Power to present his visionary mix of Jimi Hendrix, gipsy music, and heavy rock. Today, he is a part of the high-energy psychedelic band Cosmic

Command, which pays tribute to the legendary Jimi Hendrix with both instrumental interpretations and vocal-oriented songs. Their music can be described as an improvised kaleidoscope, full of colors from genres such as blues, jazz, rock, and eastern oriental flavors.

"As a teenager, I dreamed that Jimi Hendrix woke me up at night and showed me how to play solos on my original songs. He gave me tips that influenced a studio recording that later landed in an article by Mike Varney in Guitar World," says Steven Kautzky Andersson.

Musicians in Cosmic Command
- Patrik Jansson on drums is a multi-instrumentalist who has previously toured the world with the rock band Maryslim, playing in some of the most legendary clubs and venues. In parallel with Cosmic Command, he tours Europe with his soul and blues band under his own name, where he plays guitar and sings.

- Christofer Schultz on bass is a multi-instrumentalist who has played saxophone with some of Sweden's leading rock, blues, and jazz musicians. This creates an exciting encounter that contributes to interpreting Jimi Hendrix's songs creatively.

- Tobias Östlund, one of Sweden's most soulful singers, brings a calm and energetic approach to the center stage, with vocal strength that has impressed thousands during his tours across Sweden on major stages with some of the country's most established singers and songwriters.

"To interpret Jimi Hendrix instrumentally does not only mean lots of guitar solos; it's about trying to find a musical expression based on his singing style. It's both challenging and edifying," says Steven Kautzky Andersson.

Experience Cosmic Command as they, along with various guest musicians, interpret Jimi Hendrix's music instrumentally, making each concert a unique experience.

With Cosmic Command, you can choose to experience instrumental songs or vocal performances, often presented as a mix. You will hear and experience songs like "Freedom," "Castles Made of Sand," "In from the Storm," "Voodoo Child," "Stone Free," "Angel," "Little Wing," "Spanish Castle Magic," "Manic Depression," "All Along the Watchtower," "Third Stone from the Sun," "Purple Haze," "Pali Gap," "The Wind Cries Mary, and many others.

What has been appreciated about seeing Cosmic Command live is the elements of oriental tones and psychedelic sound atmospheres. The concerts typically feature virtuosic spotlight solos, psychedelic and artistic elements, all natural and improvised. Steven describes it as something natural and uninhibited, yet part of a larger whole, just as Jimi Hendrix intended.
