You would be hard-pressed to find a hard rock band with as serious a work ethic as A Date With Disaster.
Merely 10 days after recruiting their final counterpart (vocalist Paul Needza Friend) this past summer, they have been filling clubs in and around Stockholm. The live show, taking on an intricate and tantalizing web of enchanting melodies, circus antics, and humorously inspirational monologues, has been dropping the jaws of audience members at every venue.
After having witnessed their live show at the Notholmen Festival, Krister Wahlstrm from Kwalinvest Music decided without hesitation to open up his wallet and send them into the studio. The album has now been recorded and is being mixed and mastered by acclaimed producer/songwriter Jrgen Svensson.
Both the full length album Masquerade as well as an acoustic EP are due for release Spring 2010.
Performing both electrically and acoustically, originals and covers, has given the band the versatility to entertain and pleasure virtually any type of crowd or venue.
