I was raised on a small farm in Småland (in southern Sweden), very close to nature which I think has made me a down to earth-kind of person. When ever I have some spare time, I go horse riding in our nearby forests. Its a fun and effective way for me to relax and recharge my batteries.
When I was about six years old, I started performing with my grandfather who plays the accordion, and thats when it all started.
I have a younger brother whos very talented at the melodeon (a form of Irish accordion), a dad who likes to jam with his electric-guitar and a mother who enjoys singing. Music has always been a very important ingredience in our home, and is as vital to me as breathing.
Im a student in aesthetic program in upper secondary school, with song and music as major. Our class share a special bond since we all have the same interests: music!
Ive had the privilege to try out different music styles on several occasions, such as musicals like Kristina från Dufvemåla (at the age of nine). Ive been performing in the concert hall Kalmarsalen and I was the opening act for Thomas Ledin (a famous Swedish artist) at his grand opening in the summer of 2003 (with an audience about 4500 people, an awesome experience!). I have performed at weddings, cafes, christenings, private parties, in bar shows etc. Ive also been the backup singer for Caj Karlsson (another Swedish artist) among others.
In the summer 2002, I took part in a theatrical production called "The magic beverage" in Salvestaden, a Middle Age town-set in Kalmar. Ive been dancing Salsa for a while, but I want to learn more about it mainly because of its lovely rhythms.
Right now Im participating in Fame Factory, an artist school/music competition shown on Swedish TV. To participate in Fame Factory is a challenge that I hope will give me more possibilities to be on stage and meet the audience. That is when I really feel alive!
