It all started as a school band sometime in 1996.
Christoffer, the geeky ginger top with braces and a head full of songs, meets with Oskar, the wannabe Seattle resident with an ugly ponytail and a vintage Les Paul. They form different bands and jam a lot.
In 2000 Erik joins on bass and now with Oskar on drums and Christoffer as the only guitar player they rehearse in the cellar of a motorcycle shop. Christoffer, as always, spews out new tunes but the result never makes the cut. Erik leaves.
Musicians come and go but Christoffer and Oskar remain.
Christoffer goes back to school, this time a music college. He runs into Stefan, a hillbilly with a pair of drumsticks and a talent.
Musicians come and go but Christoffer, Stefan and Oskar remain.
The EP First Relief is recorded in early 2008 with Fredrik Larsson on bass. Five songs, sounds like Watercase. Fredrik leaves.
End of 2008, Erik is back on bass after eight years of absence. This time with blisters on his fingers from untrained bass hands but still with the same groove.
Like your favourite plant, just add water and watch Watercase grow.
