PHIL CARR - singer-songwriter, Irish and British folk, 60s/70s, funny songs.
As a teenager Phil travelled from his home town, Birmingham, England, across to Ireland to search for his roots. There he got bitten by the "ballad bug", and ever since has been singing songs from the 60s&70s, and Irish & British folk.
Phil plays acoustic guitar and mouth-harp, taking his audience with him from ballads and blues to rousing uptempo songs and funny storytelling songs.
He has performed all over Europe in festivals, restaurants, pubs, clubs, ferries, schools and cultural centres.
Phil is a talented, charismatic and experienced entertainer. He always creates a warm, cheerful atmosphere and I think he's marvellous!
