STORMY MONDAY BLUES BAND

Founded in 1986 by the remaining members of the touring group "Reggae Team". That background created a foundation of a heavy groove that is now significant for the sound of the group in addition to the variuos influences and personal style of the long time experienced musicians in the group. Con, a former member of the british soul group "The Foundations" from the 60:s. Mats, educated in the same spirit as Jimi Hendrix, Freddie King and other blues rock guitarists before the "speed-guitar" era. Gawe with a firm tradition in the country rock heavy but spatious basslines and finally Kenneth bringing in the jazz spice from various big band with Leif Kronlunds as an example. All together this create a powerful, swinging and kicking energy that will fill every dancefloor.
