Frantic Amber
FRANTIC AMBER is a Stockholm-based melodic death metal band with members from four different countries (Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Japan). Since 2010, the band has played over 50 gigs, including two tours to Russia, the latest one in September 2011, and a successful gig at Sweden Rock Festival 2011.

Their sound is an intense mix of metal, filled with heavy riffs and soaring melodies and combined with aggressive vocals. The songs are filled with contrasts between melodic parts and heaviness and are touched by a twisted & deranged atmosphere.

Their video for the song "Wrath of Judgement" which was released 2010 made a strong impression on the metal scene and gained more than a 100.000 views on youtube. The video paved the way for the international digital release of the band's debut EP "Wrath of Judgement", which was released digitally worldwide and physically in Sweden.

Frantic Amber started 2012 performing live at the P3 Guld 2012 Awards. The awards are P3's own music prize to summarize the previous year's best Swedish music. Performing are some of last year's most acclaimed Swedish artists. The event occurred in front of 2500 people at Lisebergshallen in Gothenburg and was broadcasted on national TV and radio channels in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

The band recently won the Swedish Wacken Metal Battle and will continue the contest with a gig at Wacken Open Air 2012, where the prize is a record deal with Nuclear Blast. They also recently launched a music video for the release of their new single "Bleeding Sanity". The video for Bleeding Sanity got almost 10,000 views in it's first week, which has since grown steadily. The video side story is characterized by its b-horror feel and includes a 50's hearse.

Frantic Amber is booked at the Swedish festivals Metaltown and Rockstad Falun for 2012 and is currently working on a full length album with Ralph Santolla (Death, Deicide, Obituary, Iced Earth) producing.
