In 1994 the internationally hailed Swedish guitarist Steven Kautzky Andersson formed a band to present his visionary mix of Jimi Hendrix, gipsy music and heavy rock. Twenty-five years after the debut album Gipsy Power was nominated for a Swedish Grammy, highlighted by Guitar World and sold in thousands in Japan the band now returns - with new music, new faces and a new album on the way. The first single from the upcoming album is LITTLE WING. Based on the universal guitar language of the song’s originator Jimi Hendrix, Gipsy Power’s version also recalls instrumental classics such as Fleetwood Mac’s Albatross from the 60´s, as well as Jeff Beck’s masterpiece Cause We’ve Ended As Lovers. Little Wing will be available on all digital music platforms worldwide on June 5.
