Hustlers Convention started a few years back by a couple of friends who are huge fans of the 70s detective series like, Starsky and Hutch, Baretta, Kojak, etc Inspired by the cool sounds from films such as Superfly and Shaft, the band Hustlers Convention was born.
They immediately started writing on their theme song called, Mean Machine Mack. A song about a nogood hustler gone good.
The band comprises of Pimpdaddys Nevada on lead vocals who emerged from Brixton and made his way through Harlem before ending up with HC, Hustlin Pelle who is the main writer and keyboard player, Olle med basen the bass pumper, Ice pick who handles the mean 6 string razor and Pretty Pete on the drums.
