Hailing from Sweden, Jhaye is an independent singer/songwriter and music producer. Her musical style can be described as a new-generation type of R&B, with elements of neo soul, jazz and blues. Inspired by life, Jhaye unravels a story of personal loss and hardship, with poetic- yet simple lyrics, mixed with captivating, silky-smooth vocals. Since the age of 6 Jhaye has been writing her own songs, and she has described music as her “way of coping with life”. On February 14, 2020, Jhaye released her first EP called “Freeztyle”, and as the name suggests, the whole album is a freestyle.
