The Mad Men Band
The Ukulele Slayer ("Indy Neidell"). This musical wizard from Houston, Texas claims to know every song that's been on any Top 100 in the UK or the US since 1952. Swinging his uke like he swings at clubs all over the world, this master of words will make you roar from laughter between songs and tell you true stories in his songs such as 16 Tons, Hang on Sloopy and Little Honda.

Little Miss Lonely ("Annika Mellin") is a stockholmian girl to the bone and will tell you any day that it's her party and she cries if she wants to, so don't try anything, Buster! When you hear LML's angel voice in those happy sounding tunes, you may well join in and sing along. But, hey! Soon you'll realize that all her songs tell stories about boyfriends cheating on her, dying in dead men's curves, going off to war or behaving like an asshole in general (like boys do) and you'll choke on your happy singing Everybody's Somebody's Fool, Lipstick on Your Collar, It's My Party and, of course, Little Miss Lonely.

The story of Doctor L ("Jonas Thorell") originates in the murky local theatre in his native Västmanland where the name dropped down on him (or rather his father) some 30 years ago. Having the impossible task of trying to conduct the only bigger egos in Stockholm than his own, the Doc does not have time to sing that many lead songs. However, he cuts down a fine Save the Last Dance for Me and Poetry in Motion.

The Lonely ("Nille Fornelius") is a travelling man, made a lot of stops all over the world. And in every part he's own the heart Of at least one lovely girl. You may not think much of The Lonely, sitting down with his bongos in the shadow of Little Miss Lonely and the Ukulele Slayer, laying down perfect vocal harmonies coming out from behind perfect teeth. But when he arises, forgetting he was once a normal bongoiste and sings Only the Lonely, In Dreams and Travelling Man, time and space stand still.

Mr E ("Per Bergkvist") plays a very red bass (which is not a fish) and adds crystal clear, piercing falsetto backing vocals. "Mr. Bass Man, You're on all the songs. With a boom boom boom boom, And a dit dit ba boom boom bom."

What-the-Hector L ("Anders Thorell") knows every drum roll from 1960-63 and honours us with his sweet backing vocals voice every now and then. Well "Mr Bass Man" was the song, but it was Johnny Cymbal who sang it...
