You could say that it was pure coincidence when the musicians in Urban Mind met for the first time in a rock saloon, that fine day in April of 2007. Less than one year later, standing on the GLOBEN arena, supporting the great pop star Kelly Clarkson, you must say that it was meant to be.
Urban Mind was formed when the fantastic singer/songwriter Martin and talented drummer Linda (both from former Mudhorse) teamed up with guitarist/singer Stina and bass player Christian. Since then the quartet has recorded 10 brilliant songs that combines a feeling of soft American west coast rock and classic city pop sound with great lyrics and wonderful voices. During this time they have played on festival stages and night clubs but also given a few very much appreciated unplugged gigs. Early spring 2008 they claimed an honourable third place in one of the largest pop competitions in Skåne.
